The Committee discussed updates to the list of standing OBCDC Board Committees. Matt will email the text of the final copy to Board members.

Robyn had met with Brian Cummins concerning his request for a meeting to discuss community issues. An executive session, from 5:30-6:10 pm, will precede the Board Meeting on March 18, with additional executive session time, if necessary, after the meeting to allow Brian to present the issues he wishes to cover.

An update on the newspaper committee will appear in the Executive Director’s report at the Board Meeting. The Committee approved a proposal to resolve a back pay claim by the editor of the OBN. The claim arose during the tenure of the previous Executive Director. Abe Bruckman will present the proposal to the editor.

Robyn briefed the Committee on the City of Cleveland Department of Building & Housing pilot program to make some changes to the way of handling code enforcement and complaints. This is an initiative on the part of the City rather than the CDC. Robyn will email a text concerning the plan to Board Members.
