Matt Reitz called the meeting to order at 5:40 pm, followed by introductions.

Minutes: The minutes of the May 20, 2008 Board Meeting and June 12, 2008 Executive Committee Meeting were read and approved.

Councilman Report:

Councilman Cummins was present but did not give a report.

Councilman Kelley was present but did not give a report.

Treasurer’s Report: There was not a verbal Treasurer’s report.

Executive Director Report:

The Executive Director discussed collection efforts on outstanding accounts related mainly to the Old Brooklyn News and the paint program. We have collected $2,000 thus far and have hired a collection agency.

There will be a Special Board Meeting on July 2, 2008 @ 6:00 to discuss Councilman Cummins’ funding reduction, the budget for next fiscal year, and legal issues. Much of the meeting will be held in Executive Session. The Executive Director plans to have a draft budget prepared for the Executive Committee and Finance Committee Meeting on July 8, 2008.

Committee Reports:

Fund Raising: Jim O’Connor discussed the graphics (ED report) and other items related to the Housing Fair.

Code of Regulations: Greg Huth reported that the Committee will be meeting weekly .
