  • NEORSD offers several cost-saving programs for eligible residents, including the Homestead Program, Affordability Program, crisis assistance, and plumbing/sewer repairs. Learn more.

  • The Cleveland Water Department also offers access to cost-saving programs, including the Homestead Program discount and Affordability Program managed by CHN Housing Partners. Learn more.

  • Cleveland Public Power accepts payments through the Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP), a federally funded program that provides eligible Ohioans assistance with their home energy bills. Learn more.

  • The HRRC offers a tool library that can be used for home repair projects, as well as a program to help senior residents create a plan for aging-in-place and gain access to senior home repair resources. Learn more.

  • Cuyahoga County’s Housing Enhancement Loan Program (HELP) provides low-interest home repair loans for qualified residents. Learn more.

  • CHS offers assistance with replacing furnaces and hot water heaters, repairing furnaces, and doing gutter cleaning and maintenance. Learn more.

  • The Heritage Home Program℠ Loan is a low-interest fixed-rate home equity loan to help homeowners repair, maintain and preserve the historic features of their home and increase its value. Learn more.

  • Is your home in foreclosure or are you being evicted from your rental property? Are you behind on your mortgage, rent or property taxes? CHN Housing HUD-approved housing counselors will help you stay in your home and regain financial stability.   • The senior repair program is limited to minor exterior home repairs, most commonly porch enhancements such as scrape/paint, lattice repair, power washing, and floorboard replacement. The program can also help with weeding and light landscaping. Unfortunately, at this time, our program cannot support major repairs such as roofing, ramps, or any interior repairs, as we do not go within the homes. If you do need assistance with repairs that are not covered under this program, your healthy home specialist can connect you to city resources that can, if applicable.   • A subsidiary of the Benjamin Rose Institute on Aging, ESOP offers free pre-purchase counseling, homebuyer education, post-purchase counseling, rental assistance, foreclosure prevention counseling, property tax counseling and aging in place planning. Learn more.

  • The Mi Casa Housing Program offers homebuyers education and financial literacy workshops. Learn more.

  • HomeToday is a lending program that provides down payment assistance and educational resources to prospective homebuyers. Learn more.

  • The Homestead Exemption reduces property taxes for qualified residents. The reduction is equal to the taxes that would otherwise be charged on up to $25,000 of the market value of an eligible taxpayer’s homestead. Learn more.

  • Meet with the officers and leaders of the Cleveland Police Department’s 2nd District. Monthly meetings are held at Bridge CLE, 3389 Fulton Rd., (NE corner of Fulton & Trowbridge), on the second Tuesday each month at 6pm, except January.

  • The City of Cleveland’s Mayor’s Action Center is the portal for issues of broken sidewalks, dead animals, traffic, speeding, and other nuisances. Submit an issue here.
