Old Brooklyn Community Development Corporation to Host Annual Street Festival

On Saturday, October 11, 2025 from 2:00-8:00pm, Old Brooklyn Community Development Corporation (OBCDC) is hosting the second annual OB StreetFest, an outdoor celebration of the people, places, and spaces of the Old Brooklyn neighborhood.

This free-to-attend event on Broadview Road will transform six blocks of the neighborhood into a lively and welcoming place for the community to enjoy live music, great food, a beer garden, local vendors, family-friendly activities, and more. OB StreetFest highlights the character, diversity, and culture that makes Old Brooklyn special, showcasing everything the neighborhood has to offer the Cleveland area. No tickets are needed to attend.

OB StreetFest is the end of a year of celebration for OBCDC’s 50th anniversary. From October 2024 to October 2025, OBCDC hosted events to honor the organization’s longstanding commitment to the neighborhood. In addition to the OBCDC’s 50th anniversary, OB StreetFest is an exciting activation of a main corridor in Old Brooklyn. In 2024, the OBCDC team conducted a Commercial Corridor Needs Assessment (CCNA) that highlighted the need to reimagine Broadview through activations such as this. Through a partnership with Ward 12 Councilperson Rebecca Maurer, OB StreetFest will transform Broadview Road.

The Broadview Road Corridor can contribute much more to the neighborhood's vitality than it has over the last few decades. OB StreetFest will help to signal investment and attention along the corridor in a fun, engaging way. Bringing people together from all over the city to enjoy live music, food trucks and vendors, is one way to achieve this goal through building community. The event will further solidify Old Brooklyn as a neighborhood on the rise.
