Businesses in the Cleveland neighborhood of Old Brooklyn are putting their creativity front and center Friday, August 7th from 5pm-9pm during the Old Brooklyn Art Hop.
The annual Art Hop event highlights the growing creative sector in Old Brooklyn, that now has two dedicated art galleries, as well as multiple other area businesses that feature creative events and/or products in addition to their main business model. We want to bring new people into the neighborhood, as well as bring our Old Brooklyn neighbors together.
Both galleries, Pinwheel Gallery and Logo Creative Studio, are having opening receptions that evening, and a dozen other venues are planning art-related events. Some activities of note include: Miscreant and the Muse, recently relocated to Broadview Road, is hosting a printing party, and next door, Buckland Museum of Witchcraft and Magick is having a closing reception for their featured artist. Ben Frankin Community Gardens is hosting a mini art fair with live music in their gathering space with multiple gardeners who are also artists.
The Old Brooklyn Art Hop will activate the art spaces in Old Brooklyn on August 7th from 5pm to 9pm - get ready for openings, art markets, hands-on activities, and so much more!!
