Taking care of your home doesn’t have to feel overwhelming or expensive.
Our Home Repair Workshop Series gives Old Brooklyn residents the chance to learn practical, hands-on skills from experienced professionals. Each class focuses on a different topic so you can build confidence and handle common repairs on your own.
This class covers basic plumbing repairs you can do yourself, including fixing common issues like leaks and clogs. You’ll learn what tools to use and how to approach problems before they get worse.

May 5 – Carpentry & Drywall
May 12 – Ceramic Tile
May 19 – Electrical Switches & Outlets
May 26 – Plumbing
From patching drywall to fixing a faucet or replacing an outlet, you’ll walk away with skills you can use right away.
Cost: $10 per class
Each attendee will receive a free tool connected to that evening’s topic.
