For the Vinyl Collector The only festival built around the record stores Keeping music culture alive in Cleveland Year two marks 50 years since Cleveland radio legend Bill Freeman first introduced Funkadelic's Maggot Brain to the city on WMMS. Local band Apostadelic honors that tradition with a live, full-album tribute performance, backed by a limited Midwest vinyl variant remastered from the original Westbound Records tapes. Ten record shops from across the Midwest set up alongside the music, including The Vinyl Groove Records, Out of the Past Records (Chicago), Dearborn Music (Dearborn, MI), State Street Records (Salem, OH) and Mistake by the Lake Records (Cleveland), with more to be announced.
